Shuffl-e in space
Main Mechanics
The game’s core mechanic limits player movement to two random directions at a time. After a short period, new directions are assigned.
Under the MDA framework:
Mechanic: Players are challenged through limited, changing movement options.
Dynamics: Players must constantly strategize to move effectively and score more.
Aesthetics: Players feel intense challenge and progression because of the constant movement constraints.
Game setup
This is a fighting game that centers on the concept of "loss of control. Within its confines, players lose basic directional movements and must hit specific arrows to regain control. It features a reward system with three scoring methods linked to the "loss of control" theme.
These mechanics combine to offer a unique gameplay experience.
Rewarding System
The game's rewarding system, inspired by Super Mario Odyssey, features three distinct types of rewards:
Collecting four spacecraft components within a time limit to earn points
Chasing a rocket that moves randomly but accelerates to evade players when approached
Gathering debris by rotating around a central obstacle and collecting smaller surrounding items before claiming the main reward.
